Our latest tried horse offering 3yo gelding, STING JET {So You Think} 7:1-0-2 $27,260. SO YOU THINK was a 10 x Group-1 winner both in the southern, and northern hemisphere, while his Dam, SUMMER WIND was a city winner in Melbourne before being exported to Singapore where she was also a multiple winner. 

Originally purchased by a mirco share syndicator, Sting Jet has raced 7 times and perfomed well, however, as he wasn't considered up to Saturday class in Melbourne he was offered for sale and we picked him up on Inglis Digital. 

Sting Jet has raced very well this preparation on the Victorian provincial circuit including winning his maiden at Wodonga, February 26. This race was run in very fast time, almost 10L faster than the standard. 

He then finished an unlucky 4th at Sale in a much tougher BM64, this race also rated high, 6L faster than the standard for that grade.  Third in the race, LADY OF LIGHT has since won at Kyneton, while Sting Jet easily beaten home DELIGHTFUL JOURNEY which went on to win the $70,000 Bairnsdale Cup. All key performance indicators when sourcing tried horses.

At his most recent run, Sting Jet finished 3rd at Sandown, Lakeside over 1300m recording very fast sectionals including his last 600m in 33.77. The second horse, TAPA CAPALL has since finished 3rd in the Albury Guineas, this is a very strong form reference and the time figures suggest Sting Jet will be perfectly placed in an easier jurisdiction and only has to hold his form to be winning races.

Patriot Bloodstock have only recently teamed up with Cavanough Racing earlier this year and had a winner with our very first runner, Leopardi at Ballina, on March 21. We have partnered with Cavanough Racing to target country only races around the border region in Northen NSW. Sting Jet is the perfect addition to our team having only won one race, and with a low benchmark he will be very easy to place to get a quick return on our investment. 

Sting Jet will have a short spell and should be ready to race late June, early July, at which stage he will be eligible for country only races first-up.

Shares start at $2,250 for 5% which covers purchase costs, GST, transport, PDS, transfers and registrations, vet fees, agistment, pre training, and all associated costs until June 1.

Ongoing fees are $200 + GST per 5% each month. Our fees are fixed each and every month with no extras except any unexpected vet fees, surgeries, feature race nominations, or anything out of the ordinary etc.
